seat makes a return visit from the previous, and missing episode. She’s Zazu Pitts, and goes by her actual name in the show. She may not be interested in insurance, but picks up some canned crab meat instead. Opie Cates pops in to be sold insurance. Time passes, and Lum is pleased with his new clientele.
Luke Spears is as mad as a wet setting hen, because his nephew, Opie, is trying to have n accident to collect on his insurance. Lum tries to use analogies to explain to Luke about how the insurance works. Confusion sets in, and Lum could have a new customer.
Who is the stranger in the fancy blue serge suit? Will Mr Johnson convince Lum to come work for his company? Mose Moots enters to ask about Lum’s policy. Will a phone call bring bad news from Charlie Redfield? Sad news is breaking out all over. Opie enters to show off his broken leg. How did he manage that? Will Lum be paying out to everybody in town?
A newcomer to Pine Ridge, Lady Brillton, tries to encourage Lum to stick with his business. Will she feel secure to have the insurance, or not? Will Lum get another chance to offload his business onto Mr Johnson?
