Maxie is an inmate who requests a favor of Barry. What does he want? To be bailed out, of course. The trial is still pending, and Barry gets Maxie out, to listen to the circumstance with his girlfriend, Sadie, and the way jealousy crept in to ruin their plans on a peaceful life. Is there any chance to have the charges dropped? Maxie seems to have a past at being locked in asylums. Is he the crazy type who would go through on threats of murder?
His alleged girlfriend, and Lomax tell their sides of the story. Besides being wacky, is Maxie also a prophet? Murder enters the picture, but there’s still someone else who has a beef with Lomax. New motives appear in the forms of a former wife, and a former business partner. Barry makes the rounds to dig up the clues he needs to piece it all together.
