Leroy and Marjorie offer their own advice, and learn about the little runt who is to visit. Is Fibber really all that small? News of the engagement to Leila is to be kept a secret, for now.
It’s time, and the McGee’s arrive. It doesn’t take long for Fibbber to become a busy body, and get back to his old bickering ways with Gildy. Will Gildy’s clean closet make an impression on his old friend? Fibber gets to chat with Leroy about movies and his juvenile activities, then runs out to Peavey’s drugstore for a little juicy gossip. The news of the engagement plays into Fibbers devious little mind. Let the teasing begin!
As the McGee’s sleep in, judge Hooker arrives to wish Gildy well on his engagement. Though the teasing from the judge and Fibber is sure to continue, unfortunately the audio doesn’t. It cuts off to end the show abruptly. If someone has a more complete copy of this episode, let me know. All the ones I can find cut off at the same spot.
