Paul, the youth in question, is brought in for a heart to heart talk from Captain Canelli. The teenager talks a good talk, and seems to be turning over a new leaf. Has he convinced Canelli of his sterling character? It doesn’t take long for Paul to get involved with his gang, and return to stealing. How many second chances will Paul get? Not any more from the cops who he had fooled.
