Guest star is Phil Silvers. First, Dinah Shore opens with, I’ll Be Home for Christmas. She anticipates the world famous, bearded actor, Monte Wooley. Instead, the studio sends Phil Silvers over to pose as the freshly shaven Monte Wooley. Too bad he’s not in on the prank that announcer, Harry Vonzel has set up. The pranks aren’t quite over for Phil when there’s an accident involving his drressing room.
The scene shifts to q heqvenly dream sequence, and sponsor message.
Dinah sings a medley inc,uding, The Very Thought of You, and Blue Skies. We visit William and Mary, a married couple in New York who do some shopping to improve their home decor. The weary travellers make the best of the train ride home.
Dinah is back to pitch the sponsor’s food produxcts. Joined by Phil Silvrs for some comic lyrics to the novelty song, She sings, Pistol Packing Mama.
