After being lost, and alone in the frozen Canadian woods, Lois had begun to think she was losing her mind when she saw the headless indian. Then she figured she was out right delirious when she saw the form of Superman coming to rescue. The short flight back to the lodge to her safety turned into another flight for the man of steel to find what is behind the headless indian.
Watching the trail, the henchmen who worked the illusion are caught, and made short work of. Now the problem is to figure how the Laugher fits into the picture. Why has this hoax been run, and used to terrorize Sebastian?
Warming up at the fireplace Sebastian is relieved to be free from the strange sight of the glowing indian. Clark is glad to have put an end to a counterfeiting jacket. And Lois is ready to put her harrowing experience in the woods behind her. She couldn’t believe the Laugher was a crook, until he confessed to his murder attempts to her before he died in the woods… he did die in the woods… right? Then where’s that sinister laughing coming from?!
