Out hunting in the woods, the Laugher is injured when his rifle blew up in his face as he tried to shoot Lois. Today we join Jimmy in the lodge, as he talks to Sebastian. They worry over the disappearance of Perry, until Clark comes in with his latest lame story of wandering down winding trails in the woods. He claims to have spotted Superman, flying Perry to Lake Mitchell, and medical attention .
What about Lois? Nobody has seen her all day either. Good news arrives over the wireless about Perry, and Jimmy goes to get some rest. Clark is especially alerted when he finds that Niles Graham has also been gone all day. This looks like a job for… Superman!
Out in the woods, Lois is fearful of every sound.
Is she letting her imagination get the best of her? Can it be… the headless indian is on the prowl. What does this mean? Will Superman reach her in time?
Note: Ican’t say it enough. Jane Alexander is awesome as Lois Lane. Often the characters in the show can be two dimensional, and stereotypical, but Lois can have some real substance to her when she needs to show it. Her character can run from damsel in distress, to cynical, vulnerable, brave, terrified, to any demand the writers have for her.
