In the Hudson Bay area of Canada, the evil mastermind, the Laugher, known as Niles Graham, is set on killing perry White, and all his friends. We join Clark Kent in the lodge with Jimmy Olsen, Perry White, and his friend Sebastian. The headless indian makes his appearance, howling like a banshee. If Sebastian sees the ghost once more, he’ll fall prey to the deadly curse.
Clark is ready to take action as Superman, but Perry won’t let him fight his battles. Niles shows up outside the door. What role is he playing in the supernatural appearance? Does he have some other sinister plans for our heroes?
Out in the wind swept night, the Laugher follows Clark and Perry to follow the horse tracks of the indian. Where will they lead? At the ridge of a canyon, the tracks mysteriously disappear, and a shot rings out to strike Perry!
