A dutchman and the trail of money has marlowe seeking after a Cloak of golden feathers. the cloak is over 100 square feet, and worth a fortune.
A suspicious character follows the dutchman, freeing marlowe to continue on the real path to the cloak. Unless complications set in to delay Philip. The enjoyment of paradise is interupted when a dame ennters the scene. Is she the contact that Philip is to meet? Is there an imposter who is staying a step ahead ov the real Philip Marlowe? A bit of bad luck turns the tables, and Marlowe is able to evade his captors. It’s back to Miss Collier, but how much does she know? How will Marlowe get her to talk?
