Narrated by the old witch of Salem who is 118 years old, and her cat Satan. Turn out the lights and listen to her spooky bedtime tale of the hairy monster.
Barbara and her younger brother inherit the estate after a five year delay, and other strange conditions in the will. Accompanied by their aunt Maggie, Barbara is to occupy the master bedroom, the one where her dead relative used to sleep. As she talks with her lawyer, a scream is heard. Aunt Maggie is found dead. The cops determine she died of a severe fright, but what could have been that terrifying?
Not all the cops agree, and one of them suspects there could be supernatural activity involved. Is there something ghostly going on with the mausoleum so close to the house? What’s the importance of the hairs found on the crime scene that are close to 6 feet long, and white?
Part 2 follows and officerRyan decides to stake out the master bedroom, stationing himself outside in the hallway. Will there be danger in store for young Barbara? It seems the officer may also be a little sweet on her… is she engaged, or seeing anybody regular?
At the right time, Ryan springs into action to rescue Barbera, and also reveal exactly who, or what the hairy monster is. Close examination of the conditions of the will, and weird religious practices from the mysterious Far East explain the matter. Will Barbara ever figure out why Ryan keeps asking her about her status of being engaged, or dating someone?
Note: The Witch’s Tale seems to be a 15 minute show, probably daily, but I’m not sure about that. The date may not be accurate for both parts of the show… Or maybe it is, if both parts aired at different times on the same day. Did they do that back then?
