Vic and Sade chat about the changing weather, bills, and gossip about a few neighbors. Vic has shown signs of a cold, although he denies it to Sade.
When Rush comes in he has hot soup from a concerned neighbor who heard of Vic’s ailment. Vic is a well loved pillar of the community, and it shows when the phone and doorbell both begin ringing with offers to bring over more hot soup.
Vic revels in the attention, and the gifts of soup, as he allows that he’s sicker and sicker. Sade begins to take offense at the doting neighbors.
As Vic enjoys his windfall of hot soup, his ailment becomes worse. Meanwhile Sade has to defend her husbands health to all callers in the community. Where will the madness end? Not in this episode, that’s for sure.
