Today we’re filled in on the story thus far… After the previous story wraps up, a knife is thrown at Clark, and a deadly plant, the Black Narcissus is delivered to his hotel room. Jimmy is missing, but phones Clark to warn him to leave the country immediately. Instead Clark goes to the sheik who had asked the reporters to try to find his missing son. The sheik is killed before Clark gets help, but his dieing words point Clark to the shiek’s brother, who is the head of the Narcissus gang, and probably the one behind Jimmy’s disappearance, the missing son, and the shiek’s death.
Back at the hotel, Superman takes in the scene, and strong arms the sheik’s brother and his gang. Will Ben Ali talk, and tell what he did with Jimmy? Convinced that Ben Ali knows nothing, Superman flies off leaving a threat behind.
Clark and Lois try to make sense of Jimmy’s disappearance when noises are heard outside their door. Its Jimmy! Was this all just a prank? Why did he go through with the ruse? What about the thrown knife… the dead sheik… are our friends still in danger? Shady figures prowling outside indicate that they are.
