Peter is the treasurer of the company he works for, and is being pressured by his wife to move up the corporate ladder. Is he in line for a promotion? What lengths will he go through to win the new job?
Taking his colleague on a duck hunting trip, Peter stages a hunting accident, and kills his rival. He pulls it off well enough, and when he reveals the truth of the matter to his wife, she isn’t as horrified over it as she ought to be.
After confronting the boss for the promotion, Peter gets denied. The frustrated employ goes to a bar to clear his head over a few drinks, then goes back to try to force his bosses hand. He can’t, so he kills him. Will this go down as yet another suicide?
Back home, again coming clean to his wife about his murder streak there seems little to do. The cops are at the door, the pressure is on, will they have an incriminating clue? What’s Peter to do… kill himself? Will he do something rash, and jump the gun?
