Lolita, the toast of Jack’s Cafe walks among the tables to talk covertly with a man about some recent murders. She is called aside and talks to the Lone Ranger and we learn more details of the story.
When his friend is found dead, The Lone Ranger demands justice, but is mistakenly blamed for the death. The sign of the tarantula is being left all over town. What does it mean? Who is the Tarantula gang?
The man who Lone Ranger took from the murder scene comes clean with all he knows, and points him to the man known as Torrero. Suddenly a knife is thrown and kills the man, but no sign or foot print is found in the area.
The plot thickens, and the twists to the mystery grow. Two of the tarantula gang talk, but one sees his chance to break the hold that the gang has over him. He wants to leave, and the Lone Ranger wants to do all he can to see that he does, and stays alive.
The show is full of Mexican flavor complete with bullfights, and all the atmosphere. It’s hard to explain, but the Lone Ranger has the mystery of the special knives that the Tarantulas use figured out, and reveals special murder weapon that has been used to throw the knives at great distance.
Though today’s mystery is solved, the Tarantula gang is still at large. , and it’s leader is still dangerous.
