Tossing darts together, Boston Blackie tries to get his pal, Inspector Faraday to investigat a murder. A crippled man, Sam Bellows is dead, and of course, Faraday pins it on Blackie. He doesn’t know how he did it, or why, but Faraday is quick to pin anything he can on Blackie.
Elsewhere, Blackie fills Mary in on the clues. Faraday has taken up the search for Sam,but is having trouble locating such a person, or corpse.
Blackie suddenly has to escape, and evade Faraday once the detective has come across the body. The audio is cut short, and half the show is missing. With the only other actors in the story being Charlie and his oversized dog, I’d be willing to bet they had something to do with it. Of course there’ll be a cliffhanging danger for Blackie to face, then handily turn the tables so he can turn the bad guy over to the cops as they rush in after the action is over. That’s just the way these things work for radio detectives.
