Silas Perkins and Elmer Peabody eagerly await the arrival of their diploma from the correspondence school.
The old timers take time from their whittling to begin their new vocation as private detectives. A stranger arrives, and is directed to the hotel across the street. Is there something suspicious with the man? Their detective kit arrives just in time, complete with badge gun, and holster.
The old gents watch that stranger, and suspect he’s up to no good at the banjk. moans can be heard as Si and Elmer snoop around. Have they uncovered something serious? Si may be toting a gun, but it doesn’t exactly make him brave.
