The County Fair is about to open, and though most folks want to see it be a success, there’s at least one man who wants to see it fail. A couple of thugs are hired for the dirty work, and Mr Stone hopes that after his sabotage is done, the people will make him manager for the next fair.
Elsewhere, Cisco and Pancho ride and talk about the fair, and some of the attractions, namely a hot air balloon. When they spot strange activities at the fair, Cisco and Pancho fight the thugs away, and talks to his friend, Mr Appleton the fair manager. The sheriff is busy chasing crooks elsewhere on the trail, so it’s up to Cisco to watch over things in his own way.
Danger lurks, and our heros find themselves awakening inside the gondola of a hot air balloon that was cut loose. Have they been taken out of the picture? If so, then why are the thugs chasing them and shooting at them? Cisco and Pancho only escape by fighting their way out of their mess, and rescuing the fair. There’s plenty of thrilling excitement to go around.
