Pinky has been hanging in there on his Summer job, to everyone’s amazement. A rumor of a new letter is the topic between Pa Barber, Dan, Nick, and Cliff. Where has Cliff been taking his son, and Roberta on dates lately, and staying out late? The letter was for Joan, so we join her sharing it with the ladies.
Pa Barber pulls his son Cliff aside to offer some advice about speeding things up with Roberta, just before the ladies arrive with treats, and the latest letter from Pinky. What surprises will the family learn in the letter he sent to his cousin Joan? A heroic homecoming takes place when the missing twin comes home. Where did he get all the money to fly home, and get all the gifts for everybody?
Hazel is relieved to have her son back, so why is she so jittery? Has her boy grown up too much for her?
