In the shower, Jack has trouble getting lather out of a peeled potato. Noticing Jack’s physique, Rochester learns about Jack’s past as a fighter. Mary visits to greet Jack with a kiss, and comment on Rochester’s singing. Will she have something to say about Jack’s shower with the potato? Dennis isn’t in a good mood, and he’s fed up with Jack. Will this be the day he tells him off? He calms down, and sings, Suddenly.
At the breakfast table, Jack talks about his upcoming stage show in San Fransisco. Hunting down a stray piece of toast, Jack is mistaken for being down on his luck, and picking through garbage cans when Bob Crosby comes by. Back inside, Dennis shares some bad news about a family member. The bakery clerk delivers a bag of Simeron rolls, and lists the ingredaments… er ingredients? Will he ever pronounce Simeron the right way? Mary discovers that he may have been saying it right all the time.
A lawyer arrives, and Jack learns that he may be the heir of $5K. An interuption from Don and the Sportsmen, has Jack in a spot to make a decision between two sponsor song versions. Does the biological info from the lawyer’s profile match jack? The only discrepancy is that Jack doesn’t want to admit his real age of 59.
