Thrills and chills, the life of living dangerously, that’s the barker’s claims at the carnival midway. When things get a little too dangerous, Miss Wynn phones her friend Bulldog Drummond to investigate. Her dad had a known medical condition, and his fatal ride testing out the roller coaster was too much for him. Was it an accident? Was he somehow forced to ride the thrill ride?
Denny assists in verifying that the death was intentional. Now, Bulldog has to figure out who had motive to commit the crime. Will Drummond learn anything by taking Elizabeth Wynn on a ride through the tunnel of love? A gunshot seems to prove that he’s getting too close to the truth for comfort.
Lights flash strange codes, and Drummond finds himself at the oyster bar. A smuggling operation is discovered, and it isn’t pearls. Danger is in store as Drummond gets to the bottom of who’s behind the operation. If he doesn’t start thinking fast, Drummond and Denny could end up as fish food. Don’t worry, you know he’ll manage to get free, rescue the girl, and turn the tables on the bad guys.
