Lois had overheard Clark talking with Perry about their new appointments as special operatives of the government, and what they know about the mechanical man. Trying to beat them to the punch, she poses as Gerta Stein, and tries to get in close to the team of the Yellow Mask and the Nazi spy, Heller. Will they fall for her ruse, or will she be recognized?
Lois is soon recognized, and kidnapped. The scrappy reporter is more of a match than Heller or the Yellow Mask counted on, and she is forced out on the penthouse terrace. Has she bitten off more than she could chew?
Elsewhere, Clark talks with a cab driver, and learns a little about where Lois went. Seeing his chance, Superman flies to the apartment, but all is silent inside. Is he too late? Where’s Lois?
