Doc arrives back in town after a two day absence. He tells Matt and Chester as much as he dares about the riders who came to summon him to care for a gunshot victim. In flashback, we relive Doc’s ordeal. The band is clearly a group of outlaws, but Doc convinces them that his ethics will both offer his best medical help, and he won’t tell who they are. Should Matt try to get more info from Doc?
The bandits are ones who Matt is looking for, and he’ll have to use other measures to learn where they are. Pressure is on though, when a rancher wants justice for the robbery and murder of his son.
Doc won’t tell who was in the outlaw band, but agrees to be bait to lure the gunmen to town. Will that be good enough for the rancher? A trap is layed, and the confrontation goes down.
