When the Yellow Mask stole the blueprints of the mechanical man, the inventor set his creation loose on Metropolis. It was an attempt at preventing his machine from beinng entirely captured, and put to use against America. Now, Clark and Lois take to the streets to keep the 10 foot tall mechanical frankenstein from doing damage to the citizens of Metropolis.
The gleeming robot is designed to be remotely controlled, but with no one in control, what will the mechanical man do? Clark and Lois follow in the wake of destruction, and terrified citezens.
Doing their best to calm terrified people, Clark wonders who might be at the helm of the remote controlled robot. Suddenly, their quest for the mechanical man ends when Lois is in danger by it. Will Clark be able to spring into action as Superman, without giving away his identity?
