The phone rings at the desk of the 21st Precinct to report a robbery at a local bar and grill. There’s more than crime in the daily lives of uniformed policemen.
The captain arranges a photographer for the patrolmen to have their pictures taken. Back to the crime, a witness is called in to be interviewed. A woman tells all she knows. Though she makes claims to be an upright citezen, her background proves that she’s less honest than she lets on. Through her involvement the cops have a lead to investigate.
A uniformed policeman takes temporary duty in plain clothes to nab a suspect. The man talks a smooth line. Don’t they all? When pressure is applied he soon sets the cops on the track of the other robber.
Just when the case is wrapped up, the phone rings again with another crime. Such is life in the big city.
