Tumbleweed has been arrested for not having legal claim over his ranch, and his indian friend who can clear up the matter is dead. Clark and Jimmy are on the way to the 3 day burial ceremony, in hopes of convincing the tribe to deed the land to Tumblweed. Ambushers await on the path, Jimmy is shot, though not badly. As he passes out in shock, it’s time for Superman to spring into action.
Back at the ranch, Clark has removed the bullet, and is sure it can pin the recent sabotage at the feet of Chaney. With Jimmy safely sleeping, Superman flies back to the reservation.
Elsewhere, the ambushers report to Chaney. Have they dug themselves in too deep to not be found out? There seems to be no end to the evil plans that Chaney comes up to cover his tracks. Will there be a mutiny among the bad guys?
