With nearly all the bad guys under wraps, Superman flies to take care of the mastermind, and rescue Tumbleweed Jones. To cover his tracks, Chaney is about to drop Tumbleweed into a quicksand pit. Doing his best to get the upper hand, Tumbleweed tries to talk his way out of his fate. Will his last words be in saying his prayers?
Meanwhile, Superman is frantically searching for his friend. After beating up Chuck Conners, and locking away the gang, its off to the rescue. Later, Tumbleweed shares with Jimmy about how Superman flew in to save him.
Just then, two riders approach. What’s the meaning of this? Tumbleweed has some closure on returning to his ranch, and our heros partake in some archery practice. Will Clark inadvertently expose that he’s Superman? A silver arrow with a cryptic message hints at the next thhrilling adventure with Superman.
