Who will portray Jack in the movie? Earol Flynn? Clark Gable? Mary gives the topic a lady’s perspective, then Dennis arrives with news about his broken leg, and his new girlfriend.
Dennis sings, Do You Know Just How Lucky You Are. Jack and Mary still toss out ideas of the star who should play Jack, when Phil arrives. Phil may not be right for the part in the movie, but he’s good to add to the jokes. Don has the Sportsmen ready for the sponsor message, and with a special part for Jack to help.
Jack invites the gang over to his house for Thanksgiving dinner. Mary goes into flashback to tell about their shopping trip for the turkey. As they drive in the Maxwell, Rochester talks about the latest quirky behavior of the old car, and the new models coming out soon. Jack meets up with Mary at the supermarket, and tosses a football with a few of the neghborhood boys who are playing outside. The boys shed light on a few of the lies Jack has told about his athletic prowess.
Mr Kitzel is behind the meat counter with a near flub, an adlib, and jokes about the high meat prices. Would a live turkey be a better deal?
