Dennis Day arrives with a few ailments, and to tell about his holiday pranks. What surprise will Phil Harris have once he shows up to join the jokes? Phil and the bandd play, Lady From 29 Palms.
Mary shares how Jack is a sucker for feminine wiles. The feature is a spoof of the Warner Brothers hit film, Dark Passage. Don gets the play started, and in voiceover, Jack tells how he landefd in his prison cell. Phil is a prisoner who fills Jack in on prison life, then Don gets the chair, as the Sportsmen sing a peppy prison song.
Inconveniences of prison life finds Jack standing at the desk of the worden, Frank Nelson, Will he recieve any pity from the man? Will there be an escape plan in the works? Mary is a street wise dame who picks up the escaped Jack. Will things go well in the doctor’s office, and the face lift thsat will change his appearance? Will the new look be the ticket for Jack to make a clean break?
Afterward, Jack pitches to donate to the community chest.
