In the bunkhouse Pat Butram announces a new cook. Pat has some new tasty treats to show off, and tells about the Thanksgiving dish he’s planning. Pat then helps Gene out with a song, Friendship. Gene also sings, Sioux City Sue.
Gene gets a worried phone call from Russ. He’s upset that his daughter has been kidnapped. The girl seems to be able to take care of herself just fine with the kidnappers. Gene smells something fishy with that ransom note, and the men continue their hunt. As little Carol softens the hearts of her kidnappers, Gene has figured out the secret behind the note. Loose endds are sure to be tied up quickly, and amends are made for a Happy Thanksgiving dinner.
