In search of an antidote for the poisoning the Metropolis football team, Clark has gone to a tiny Central American jungle village. John Cotter has connected the reporter with a guide of questionable background, Tango Pete, to be his guide.
Clark soon learns that motivations in the jungle don’t obey the same rules of life in the big city. Just because he can convince his guide, will he be able to make a deal with the tribal chief?
Apparently most people come for the white powder that makes men drowsy, not the brown crystals to counteract it. Clark’s aggressive measures may just raise a bit of greed that’ll hamper his quest, not help it.
