A gang of bandits led by the colorful outlaw Black Jack Larue is terrorizing the small town, and the marshall is wounded. Word that Cisco is in the area, and a message is taken to him to ask for help.
The town has a law against guns, and Cisco complies, but the outlaws of course ignore the signs and commence to shoot up the town. A fistfight breaks out, but when the lights are shot out, Cisco is blamed for a murder and taken to jail. Huh? How stupid can the deputy be? No one had guns other than the outlaws, and he believes their story over Cisco? Don’t worry, a cute senorita, who is the marshall’s daughter believes Cisco and helps him escape, and just in time to evade an unruly mob.
Out on the plains, the bickering outlaws shoot each other off, but the last man standing has to face Cisco, who gets the chance to clear his name and make sure justice is done.
