Superman had found Jimmy and Nancy in the snow, drugged, unconscious, but unharmed. As Clark, he talkks with a near by nissionary, reviewing the points in the mystery thus far. Strange accidental deaths, the sniper, the story of the large bird that was supposed to have carried Jimmy away.
The missionary agrees with Clark’s skeptical outlook. It still hasn’t stopped the fear in the loggers. Will there be enough physical evidence to prove how the supernatural events were pulled off by natural means?
Clark thinks Dawson’s behavior is strange, but the missionary defends the woodsman, chalking it up the character of the rough life in the woods. Just then a report of a fire comes in, and a life is in danger.
PS: Why is Clark so skeptical over a giant bird that could have carried away two teenagers? Isn’t he a man who wears a blue and red spandex suit, and can fly? Of course, he’s right. There’s something shady going on. Have tyou got it figured out yet?
