Eli is a little confused on his first impression of her project, but Patience shares her concern over stray animals in town. She wants to start a campaign to feed the stray, and homeless animals. A regular animal shelter is planned, with rooms for each animal to live in. The choir has gotten together, and they sing, When Twilight Shadows Softly Fall.
Ben talks to Eli about the need to use psychology on animals, if you want to understand them. The gang tune into the radio to hear a news story about Patience, and her work for the neglected animals. Will the story get her the attention she needs to get the animal shelter off to a bang? As the animals arrive, the gang sing, Calling Caroline.
Will there be enough cages for all the animals? What about the monthly bill for animal feed? Will Patience be able to continue raising money to care for the pets? It looks daunting, but to lift their spirits the choir sings, I Dream of You. Will the animal project be too big to handle? A lot of small favors build to make the big work happen. The gang wrap up with the hymn, I Love to Tell the Story.
Moral of the story: Be kind, and take care of animals.
