Dennis opens with a song, Fella with an Unbrella. After a date with his girlfriend, Mildred, Dennis is fascinated that the magician and fortune teller they saw knew so much about him. When Mr. Anderson is down about finances, Dennis visits the fortune teller for advice, and discovers the guy is really an old shipmate from his Navy days.
The shipmate wants to take Dennis in on his act to make some extra money. It just might work, as long as Dennis can manage the dirty work. Musical intermission as Dennis sings, Tooley Ooley Ooley, with a little back up from Mr. Anderson.
When the fakery hits too close to home, Dennis and Mildred try to turn the tables on the old friend. Dennis sings his latest hit, Mother LaCooshla.
