Rush is excitedly telling Sade all he knows about Uncle Fletcher, and his plan to use a few scraps of railroad rails. Vic helps calculate how much the whole batch weighs. What’s Fletcher going to do with over a half ton of steel? He plans to use the four foot sections of rail to make door stops. The entire section, covered in velvet, and with embroidered slogans on them. Cool!
The guys rave over the idea, but Sade is only weary of the scheme. After-all, it’s going to be little old Sade who will have to move that 400 pound hunk of metal around to sweep the floor, and move it so doors can be opened or closed.
Jimbo Mason adds:
Though Sade worries that such a gift would create a problem for the four families he plans on distributing the rails to, Vic seems to think it won’t be a problem because there will be no way of him ever moving the 4 rails (a combined weight of 1760 pounds.)
Though spoken of a lot in this episode, Uncle Fletcher isn’t in the episode at all!
Not the strongest episode of the lot.
