Sheriff Vic Adler gets the bad word from the doctor. His wife is in serious condition, and needs medical attention the local doc isn’t qualified to give. Will Vic have to say his goodbyes to his lovely wife? Lone Ranger and Tonto ride onto the scene, but can they help? They seem to be on the trail of a ruthless bandit, not in a position to help the ailing woman.
When the bandits approach Sheriff Vic, will he be tempted to throw away his 27 year long career for a cut of the loot? The cash would go a long way in sending his wife to the big city doctors. It might be awkward if the bandits were recognized, and sheriff Vic had to arrest them
Lone Ranger is in the salloon, and gets blame, but the observant masked man has seen enough to know there’s trouble in the under currents in town. Making his get away, he and Tonto make their own plans to expose the bribery scandal. First he has to go undercover and join the gang of outlaws. Closing the trap, the trick will be clearing the sheriff’s name, and catching the bandits red handed at the same time. Can he manage doing both?
