A travelling show comes to town with a couple of partners. They shoot tin cans off each other’s heads, but Matt zshuts them down, not trusting in their consistent marksmanship. Later, in the Long Branch, Matt, Kitty, Chester, and Doc talk, he learns the partners are at their William Tell act again. Do they have some other game they’re trying to play as well?
Widow Ganz steps into the picture, and is the object of each man’s affections. Will one or the other men conveniently miss his mark, and win the entire affections from the widow? Is she working her own game to fleece the shooters out of money?
One final show is staged, but Matt can’t stop the accident from happening. The conflicts aren’t quite over and Matt tries to keep the widow from getting into more trouble than she planned, and to see about justice for the killing earlier.
