Lou is surprised to see Doc in his smoking jacket. It’s a gift from her, but he’s never worn it before. Is he up to something? Is he feeling OK? What’s the story behind the tear in his usual suit ccoat?
At her urging, Doc promises to shop for a new suit to replace the threadbare ones he now has. He still gets in a little morbid joking around at Lou’s expense. He wants to have the undertaker size him up, rather than the town taylor.
With the measurements out of the way, Doc is easygoing, and lets the taylor pick out the cloth. Will the creation be something that Lou will like?
