Doc Adams has come home for lunch, and is loving his wife’s, lemon pie. Is he keeping a secret from his wife? It’s nothing sinister, he just wants to plan a date with his devoted sweetie to go to the carnival.
On the car ride to the carnival, Lou hints of news from their son, but the rides and festivities soon distract the couple. Sideshow oddities stir up Doc’s skeptical nature, but can a 3 headed calf be genuine?
Though he wanted to relax on rides, the spinning merry-go-round makes doc queasy. What about the games and attractions on the midway? Will they be relaxing, or just add to doc’s skepticism?Lou gets a kick out of Doc’s frustrations, and the change in his attitude towards carnival fun.
