Trouble awaits our heros in indian country, as we join the wagon train that cuts across the prairie. Outlaws had been the cause of the attack that left no survivors except for one lone boy, but the blame was laid at the feet of indians. Lone Ranger and Tonto go to learn if any clues might be found from the boy, now known as Little Beaver. In town, more clues are gathered from the local lawman, and word that relatives are looking for the long lost boy.
When reward money is involved, Lone Ranger fears the boy may be in danger of crooks who might try to cash in on him. The boy has gon missing, a ransom demand is made, and Lone Ranger seems to have been identified as the guilty party.
Though the family is willing to pay, the sheriff drags his feet at any negotiations. Is there anything the Lone Ranger can do to convince the law that he’s just there to help? Can he trap the bandits, and turn them over to justice? Will Little Beaver be reunited with his family? Lone Ranger kicks the lid off a dirty secret to expose the culprit.
