Doc Adams gets recruited to be part of the posse to hunt for the girl. The little girl disappeared from her playhouse, right before supper. Might there be a kidnapper involved? Is there any clues to follow in the hunt for the 5 year old, Esther Guffy?
As the moonlight breaks through the clouds, Doc spots her. Esther is on the train tressel, and a train is speeding right towards her. Can doc run to her in time? If he does manage to get to her, will he be able to get off the tressel safely with her? The heroic efforts find Doc Adams eating his own words that he had for his patient, Bill.
