You are racing through the night on the Orient Express with a murderer on the train with you, and in a hotbed of political contention.
In 1932, a man takes the Orient Express across Europe on a business trip. The American traveller finds a stranger in his room, and going through his overcoat pockets. He then meets a young gal who is a chorus girl, and something of a damsel in distress. The American takes her under his wing, sharing dinner, and trying to get her a better berth on the train.
Other characters on the train are behaving a bit suspicious, and seem to know more than they should about what the American is doing. The mysterious Mr John avoids a close call with a newspaper reporter, then comes clean with the American, about his past, and that he’s a political exile. Should the American expose the secret? Will he find himself in danger?
He is knocked on the head, but wakes to find the train car empty. The American finds himself on the wrong train, and races to return to the Orient Express to find more wierd behavior from the players on the train. What kind of conspiracy is going on? International spies, hidden agendas, and the curious American finds himself in the middle of it, and it’s up to him to rescue the odd Mr John and his travelling companion.
