Word comes in that a criminal is on the loose in Wistful Vista, and Fibber is torn between joining the posse, or staying home to protect his lovely bride. Wallace Wimple pops in to tell how he’s determined to go out and do some bird watching, putting his bird book to good use. Radio reports call for citezens to join the search party. Will Molly want him to be brave and do his civic duty? Where will Fibber find his gun to join the search. Maybe it’s in the closet? Billy Mills plays, Canadian Capers.
As Fibber continues to debate over how he should serve, Doc Gamble visits. Fibber and molly ask him about his dating relationship with FiFi Tremaine. Might there be weddingbells for him soon? Radio reports bring crazy announcements, even Harlowe Wilcox on every channel doing the sponsor commercial. With a $10K reward, Fibber is mobilized into action.
Teeny pops in, but the danger on the streets is a little different when seen from her perspective. She also proves to be a little less innocent and unsophisticated than Fibber might expect on matters of crime, gangsters, and cops. The Kingsmen sing, My Pretty Girl.
