Gracie, George, and their band leader, Jack Bernard, joke around about the sponsor and various things including fashions and being overweight. Nelson Watson sings, Alone.
George and Gracie return to talk about her brother being rich as Rockefeller. Then about vehicles and travelling. A big movie tallent scout visits to check on vocalist, Nelson Watson to see if he can act. He wants Gracie to be on her best behavior. Of course, she jumps on all the puns she can. Jack Bernard plays the hit, Hypnotized.
Gracie reads George a letter she recieved. The tallent scout is still brave enough to hang around, and he wants Nelson to do a scene from the film, Rain, where he is to court Sadie Thompson, a woman who is something of a vamp.
George gets to play the sound affects man. Nelson is the reverend who has reformed the bad, wicked vamp of a woman, Sadie Thompson, but now he’s begun to fall in love with her. Gracie reads from her script, more or less. The tallent scout is impressed, but not the way people expected. Gracie closes with a song, I’ve Got Nothing to Hide.
