In the underground caves beneath Jupiter City, Commander Correy finds himself in danger at the hands of the gem counterfeiting racketeers, the Cobra Gang.
Only a large, well coordinated gang could pull off the jewel heist that Cadet Happy and Commander Correy investigate, and that means the Cobra gang. The gangsters have the technology to manufacture the best synthetic gems. What plans do they have to substitute fake gems for real ones? The Space Patrol has the gang under surveilence, but they still don’t know who the players are exactly. Complicating the matter, the phoney gems are good enough to fool even the best of jewelers.
As the jewels get manufactured, mobsters find they’ve been double crossed by their own lab technician. Do they get rid of her to teach her a lesson? Or do they still need her around to supply them with fake gems? Following the trail of clues, and using the latest in forensics, Commander Correy moves in on the laboratory deep below Jupiter City. Caverns are flooded, and it looks like the mobsters will wipe out two birds with one stone when Commander Correy and the lab technician are both caught in the tunnels.
As the close escape is made, the audio cuts off, but you know it’s just a matter of time before the bad guys fall prey to justice.
