Before we get started, get a dose of what it was like in the early days of the Retro Radio Podcast. I’m just glad those old Retrobots are a thing of the past.
The guys hav discovered a little taste of how much work it can be to operate their matrimonial bureau. Today we find Lum has made a sign, and has to explain his artwork to Abner. Abner can’t figure out whether that’s a cupid, or a midget wrestler?
With the sign finished, it’s time to move operations into the old Jotem Down store where there’s more space. Lum tries to tell Abner how he plans to organize the store to make it easy to run the matrimonial bureau. When Dick Huttleston drops off the day’s mail, trouble could be in store for Abner.
Who has been sending all the mail to Abner? Lum’s the president of the store. It turns out to be letters from women who want to marry Abner. What’s his wife Lizabeth going to have to say about this?
Horlicks drama: A wife tries to save a few pennies, but makes her husband upset when he has to settle for a lesser product. Don’t be fooled by imitations. There comes a time to pay alittle more than to sacrifice on flavor.
