Spending romantic moments together, Mel and Betty look through family photo albums. To enhance his chances at marrying Betty, Mel impersonates Mr Colby to make a business deal. He wants the sale to fail, since it means the Colby’s will move away. If he can kill the sale of the supermarket, Mel thinks he’ll have no trouble at winning Betty’s hand. Too bad Colby comes home early. Will the superstitious buyer need to consult his astrologer to take some fresh advice?
The Sportsmen sing, Blue Skies. In the fix it shop, Mel rants to Tommy about the treatment his dad, Mr Colby gives him. Before Tommy can offer any advice, Mr Cushing, the Mighty Potentate of the Zebra lodge pops in to complain about his wife, and her nagging. Will Cushings advice to impersonate the astrologer’s assistant help? It sounds like a good idea at the time, but these things seldom work out quite as planned.
Decked out in his mystic’s robes, Mel puts on a good show. Will his crystal ball gazing put an end to the deal? Will Mr Colby be fooled, or will he want to break every bone in Mel’s body?
