Judy opens the show by singing, Give Me Five Minutes More. Aunt Aggie joins Judy as they try to tune in a favorite radio station. All they get is crazy commercials instead. Judy tells about her attempts at participating in tallent shows. What prize does she hope to win? Geranium joins the fun to talk about her boyfriend, and her tallents on the stage.
More wacky radio moments ensue with Mel Blanc and Joe Kearns providing the on air voices. What melodrama will unfold over the radio? Pedro talks about his friend who made a radio appearance. Also about his favorite radio moments, and dating in his new car. Rushing down to the radio station, Judy shows off her singing ability as a voice coach offers advice. What other voice acting ability will Judy demonstrate? It’s only equalled by the bad script she has to read.
The Sportsmen join in, to help Judy as she yodels out the song, Gonna Make it to My Shanty If I Can. Passing her auditions, Judy gets her big moment on the radio. First, she goes into flashback for a few moments back on the farm with her ma and pa. The slow speaking Ma and pa share a little about their lazy life style. Nothing seems to move these two into excitement. Maybe a nice meal made from small chicken eggs will do? Judy’s boyfriend from back home, Luke, enters for abuse, and to come courting Judy in his flaming youth. Learn a secret about Judy’s big feet, then return to the present to see how Judy’s radio career is going.
To close the show, Judy is joined by the Sportsmen to sing, Why Does It Get So Late So Early.
