Sgt Preston proudly shares how his wonder dog King is more than a dumb sled pulling dog. Mr Moody is a local shop owner who is skeptical of just how smart dogs can be, and scoffs at their value as companions in the hard landscape of the frozen North. We learn a little secret from Kings’ perspective about Slade, the business partner of Moody. What does it mean? How can King tell his partner in the Mounties about the strange event that unfolded before his eyes?
Later, Moody reports that his partner is missing, and the blood stained crime scene provides the evidence and clues that cause our heros to spring into action. Using their best logic, Preston and Moody follow the clues from the violent struggle. Are they on the right track? King tries to point in the right direction.
