After a hard day, Casey trudges into the Blue Note with his camera bag in tow. He meets up with a fellow photographer to compare notes on the business of their job. Ann comes in with a big scoop, and friend or no friend, Casey races out to be first on the scene of the fire. Snooping around with Ann, and lookking for good camera angles, Casey finds himself up a dark alley with a body, a thug, and a thump on the head.
Shorty, Casey’s buddy was killed over pictures the gangsters thought he had, and now in the darkroom, Casey discovers that he has Shorties pictures.
